James and Lindsay Brown moved to Lethbridge, Ab. in January of 2016 with their two littles and big aspirations to create the best darn sandwich joint around.

Wait, wait, wait…why am I talking in the 3rd person?

Lindsay, here, aka Mrs. Panini.

There were a lot of hurdles to get The Hot Wire up and running but with some elbow grease (not literally), a bit of luck and we can’t forget our beloved panini patrons, we were able to preserver through those first tricky months.

That calls for a toast!

The Hot Wire Panini opened May 12th 2016.

The business model was born out of the hope to allow us more quality time together as a family.

The Hot Wire is the epitome of a Mum and Pop shop. Our wish is to extend that feeling of family to our customers. James and I love getting to know our patrons on a first name basis, so if you’re ever in at the shop don’t be shy to introduce yourself!

All in all the city of Lethbridge has warmly welcomed our little Hot Wire family and for that we couldn’t be more grateful.

We are coming up on our one year mark in a few months! And we’ve had our fair share of milestones along the way.

Like the time we impersonated Bob and Linda Belcher…

Or when we let the pipsqueaks run the show…

We had a blast at the 2017 Food and Beverage Expo.

And don’t even get me started on the pun-fun we’ve had!

It has been a beautiful beginning and we look forward to seeing what the future holds for The Hot Wire Panini Cafe.

Thanks for stopping by and we hope to see you soon!

Sending you tons of sandwich love,

Mr. & Mrs. Panini
